Women’s Golf

Golf is a great way to exercise and socialise at the same time and the Darwin Golf Club strongly encourages women and girls to participate in the great game of golf!  Age and skill level are no barrier, and beginners and social players without a handicap are encouraged to come along to learn and improve.

While all regular competitions are open to women and girls, there are also female only social competitions.

Women 50 Years & Over

The Darwin Branch of the Northern Territory Senior Women Golfers’ Association (NTSWGA)  hold a nine-hole social competition every Tuesday morning. Depending on the weather, the friendly competition attracts between twenty-five and forty-five players each week. Visitors from other Clubs are also most welcome. Play finishes with a cuppa and social chit chat.

There is currently a $10.00 joining fee and a competition fee of between $6.00 and $8.00 is charged per game. Green fees may also apply.
